Vcore most raccurate measurement - MH13

Hi everyone,

In the BIOS setup of my Maximus hero 13 (v 0707) I have an interesting setting under Extrem Tweaker\Digi+ VRM. It is named Voltage monitor and comes with two values. Die Sense and Socket Sense. For core voltage monitoring which one should I select in order to get a value which is "as close as possible" to the voltage really applied to the cores and the most updated value ? Of course both options will not show the transcients effects when switching from light to heavy load.

Physically, where is located the chip that monitors this voltage ? CPU package, somewhere on the MB PCB,...

Die sense. It is measured by the VRM at the die. and read out from the VRM. See figure 2 and 3:
