    How to change Battery on ASUS RAMPAGE VI EXTREME X299?

    Hello guys i need to change the battery on ASUS RAMPAGE VI EXTREME X299 anyone knows how to find inside???my battery is dead

    Hello,

    I think you have to remove a aluminium heatsink/cover first , like you would like to install a M.2 device in the left lower corner of the mainboard (not the Dimm 2 slot), but the CEMOS baterie is wired or in the baterie "case" like it was normaly depends what Rampage vi you have the first rampage has it like wired non standard , i have encore there its diferend , but anyway you have to remove a heatsink first i belive !

    Yes. Disassemble all ROG ARMOUR and may require modify new battery attachment once.
