1. Don't worry about those early specification required by system healthy checker tools. Microsoft already remove it to trash.
Your Z170 and Skylake Core i7 6700K will be compattible with Windows 11 final release.

2. The final product ( Windows 11 Official may release around November 2021 ) will widely support many CPU models
both X86/ARM devices more than existing Insider Build.

Thank you so much, for your reply. In fact, it would be weird for PCs like mine, built something like 5 years ago (and partially upgraded 3 years ago), not to be compatible with the new Windows. But I needed to get a more informative and fresher information about it.

I have this issue with my ASUS PRIME X299-A. I have been told to enter the "Advanced" section of my BIOS 3403, enable PTT then go to "PCH-FW Configuration and click enable. That sounds very simple but there is one very big problem. Bios version 3006 did have those entries in the "Advanced" section of the BIOS. However, the entries ate NOT present in in the latest BIOS vesion 3403. I have reported this problem to ASUS and I presume that they will change the BIOS to resolve the problem and so permit an upgrade to Windows 11.

To used Windows Insider build you may need lastest BIOS revisions.

Please do not peddle unsourced information and thus give people false hope.

Only people that their CPU/Motherboard is not Windows 11 Supported to date but they meet all the others prerequisites (including full UEFI, Secure Boot & TPM 2.0 enabling) can have the hope that their stuff will be validated by Microsoft if specific VBS capabilities are supported by the CPU. To date, only Intel 7th generation and AMD Zen 1 have been identified by Microsoft in this case, and which are being tested in order to refine the list of Windows 11 Supported Processors if the tests are conclusive :

I am trying to install Windows 11 and it says "The computer must support Secure Boot".
But I have Secure Boot enabled in BIOS.

You can say based on past experience you expect it to be a certain way, just don't state it as a fact if Microsoft has not made any official announcements. I agree that people should not be getting so excited right now since there is plenty of time to figure out things later but I am careful not to make statements I cannot support with public information.

BIOS settings to meets the UEFI, Secure Boot & TPM 2.0 requirements to run Windows 11 (if your CPU/Motherboard is Windows 11 Supported) :

Press F7 to switch in Advanced Mode







Press F10 to Save & Exit

Note : The tree structure or the naming of the settings may be different depending on the generation or range of your ASUS motherboard.

You forgot one vital requirement. Intel Virtualization Technology and AMD SVM Virtualization Technology needs to be enabled as well.

So it meets the TMP and Secure Boot requirements

Windows 11 installation fails with a Safe_OS error that we have yet to figure out why this is so.

It may have to do with the fact that I am using AMD's RAID controller and my boot drive is on RAID 0.

Others suggest that it is due to an incompatibility of the KB5003690 (Issued a few days ago) with Nvidia graphics drivers that fails too to update.

Apart from that I manages to install Windows 11 in a VM in my kit. It looks lovely. So lovely that I wanted to install it in my physical machine as well.

I cannot get PTT enable to stick. I change from disabled to enabled and confirm changes when saving and exiting. I go back to check and its disabled. Lots of changes in bios setting so its not like I don't know how to save my changes.

I'm on a Strix Z490-I with an Intel 10700k and running Bios 2103.

Any idea on how to make the change stick? Don't think there is even a place on this MB for a TPM Module as last resort.

I have the same problem... I contacted support, but they can't repeat the problem, so they just say to install the latest bios again, which obviously doesn't solve the problem as I already had the latest version installed.

Did you get any further with this?

Virtualization enabled is not one of the minimum system requirements, but to meets the full requirements (including VBS requirements) it is indeed necessary.

Some people who had issues with TPM, turning on Virtualization fix their issues. That is why I say that.
