G20AJ TPM support

Hello users,

i have an ASUS G20AJ and i have it for 5 years now. The computer is running fine, but it's possible that it won't get Windows 11 simply because of a missing TPM chip. I looked through the UEFI whether the TPM is inactive but it turns out that the PC simply has not TPM. No physical or firmware TPM.

My question is: Do you know whether the mainboard of the G20AJ has a header to plug a TPM chip into?

When i googled "Asus G20 tpm" a result from ASUS came with such a TPM chip but unfortunately ASUS doesn't list whether the TPM chip is compatible with my PC either.

I really hope i can install a TPM chip because i don't wanna rely on Microsoft backing down on the requirement and Windows 11 is just too good to simply pass up.

Hello.

There´s a lot of different ones of that pc refreshed over the years. intel 8th gen, ryzen 2000 and up supports the TPM 2.0

I assume you got a 4th gen intel cpu. But we may see support for older processors in the future closer to the official windows 11 launch.
