External fan control

Some time back, various versions of GPUT seemed unable to control the external fan function properly on my 2080ti OC11. Has this been fixed, and if so, what version of it and what installation procedures do I need? Alternatively, can Afterburner or otherware do this? Thanks.

If for some reason you do not like the Asus utilities or not working for you either way, you can try Afterburner which lighter in build and it work most of the Nvidia card.
