I am running a ROG STRIX X470-F Gaming with BIOS version 5406 - Nov 13, 2019

The support download page shows the last BIOS version as Version 5851 - Jun 28, 2021

Using Asus AI Suite 3 - online check says no new BIOS version available.

Downloading and trying to install the 5851 from the image comes up with the error below.

Any ideas how to solve this and upg to the latest BIOS version ?

Hi there,
Can you help to try version 5601, then 5809 ?
skip a few version, but not directly update the latest one.

Thank you for the reply. After many trial and errors i managed to get to 5406. Now when I try to go to 5601 which is basically the next version on the list I am once again getting the "Bios Image doesn't match the BIOS ROM error"

I also tried 5809, 5843, 5851,5861 all with the same error. Anything above 5601 throws this error.
