M.2 SSD Running on X1 PCI-e Speed After Bios Update [Z590-e]
Hi there! I just recently updated my Bios for my Z590-e board because it hasn't been updated since the board was released. After updating the bios, I spent quite a bit of time trying to get my m.2 SSD to be recognized as a boot device, and I eventually got it to work.
However, when running a benchmark, the SSD's Read/Write speeds are around 800-900 MB/s, when I know the SSD has reached a few thousand MB/s before. I used hwinfo, and it appears that the SSD is running at the X1 PCI lane. I know my motherboard shares bandwidth between the CPU/GPU/and m.2_2 slot because I'm using a 10th gen CPU. However, it shouldn't be running that low. I think the worst it should be running is X4 or X2. I'm not sure if there's much I can do about it, but hopefully, someone knows a fix for this issue.
