GT-AX11000 - not sure what is going on
I have two GT-AX11000 working well in an AIMesh. Using Firmware Version:3.0.0.4.386_44266 on both.
If I leave it as is, no problems.
I would like to use VPN Fusion so that I can direct one computer on my network through a OpenVPN tunnel, and all others use default (Internet).
No problems adding the OpenVPN connection to VPN Fusion, however when I do this many of my clients on my home network start to lose their connection - it becomes very unstable. In the case of my cell phone, it seems to continuously try to connect to my wifi, and fail... repeat.
To fix this, I have to factory reset the router, and upload my last known good CFG save (very glad I make a habit of saving my CFG before and after any config changes, and keep a history of these saves).
So for now, I am just using a VPN client on that one computer that I was hoping to use VPN Fusion for. All is stable.
Not sure if anyone else has seen this?

Maybe worth trying Merlin (This is an enhanced version of Asuswrt - the firmware) since it recently supports this router.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/asu...11000/Release/
I doubt your current CFG file will work with this firmware, typically you start from start with this to get the best results.
It might be worth trying, I know it was for my old Asus router for well over 8 years. Does not use VPN fusion rather has another implementation (policy-based routing) described here https://github.com/RMerl/asuswrt-mer...-based-routing and would be considered a superior implementation vs. vpn fusion and most likely work as intended (assuming you set VPN up correctly, it is a different implementation)
Only other thing to note is early days with this router for this Merlin firmware but you will find it has good user base which collectively supports the implementation and Merlin / others who actively investigates issues.

Yes you can switch back if it does not work out.
