If you are running a Z490 or Z590 motherboard as UEFI, you don't need to use a FAT32 configured USB drive to install on that system. A GPT configured drive with one NTFS partition and the install files copied over will work. Both boards I have tested are Maximus Hero versions.
This will normally become important if you are using install media with a file larger than 4 GBs. Right now that only happens with the Windows Insider builds. But I will be using such a drive for my Win 11 installs even though it may not be required.
