Strix g15 Advantage Edition no longer shows display as freesync premium pro

I thought installing radeon software from amd's website would let me utilize the tuning part of the radeon software .During installation the pc had a bsod crash but it rebooted to windows out of the recovery mode window. All was fine and well and i could see more of the metrics in the radeon software than i did before but now the display reports to be only freesync and not freesync premium pro . tried reinstalling the radeon software from the windows store and it had no change in it either ,

please help.
