    Wrong Boost on i9-10850k (allCore)?

    Hello,

    i have a i9-10850K on an Asus ROG Z590-A-Board.
In the Bios, i disabled MultiCoreEnhancment, so the CPU is runing at Intel-Specs.

When i run Prime95, all cores goes up to 4800Mhz at 1.232V.
    So far, so good...

After one minute, all Cores droping to 4500Mhz at 1.168V and stay there forever (as long as Prime is runing).

I thought, the i9-10850K has AllCore Frequ of 4800Mhz, but mine seems to havethis only for a minute...

I know, that after 56 Sec PL1 "jumps in" (because PL2 should only run 56 Sec), but the CPU must be able to keep 4800Mhz as long as there i want?!?

Or is it normal, that the CPU drops to 4500Mhz after 1 Minute?!?

    Temps are good, about 60°C...

    Thanks!

You need to adjust the power limits in BIOS or else the CPU just follows Intel spec.

    Hi,
You'd want multicore enhancement on Enabled-Remove all limits otherwise Intel crappy power limits will mess up everything you run.
Other performance killing settings are these
