IDK why MasterC wont acknowledge ANY of my posts but can we get a CHANGELOG for the 9/15/2021 Armoury Crate update please? For those of us that have had to uninstall Armory Crate cause its making our windows OS unusable as well as the Asus software.
The description for the software update says NOTHING about what was changed.

I started to have some random BSOD's after i installed AC 4.2.5.0 .After deep troubleshoot in some windows forums they said its connected to intelppm.sys, but workarround was to disable it.If i disable it i lost the Turbo of my 9900k and i have to mannually OC, but i dont have the time and effort to manually OC now.So the only thing wich i update in past 3 week when bsod's start apart from AC was Nvidia driver , i rolled back the driver and still had random BSOD whea uncorrectable error. So before i reinstall my windows ( cuz i really wanna avoid cuz i have to spend alot of time to tune it back and wasnt sure if it gonan fix my problem) i decide to Unistall AC.Since i unistalled it i dont have a single BSOD for 9 days.Sadly 90% of my products are Asus and i cant control them now neither fans speed or RGB.I dont know how AC interact with that intelppm.sys, but im scared to use it now...

    * Installed new BIOS 321, rebooted. No change to my Manual mode rebooting problems as described here: https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthrea...ge5#post842336

    * Armoury Crate has an update, ASUS Framework Service 2.1.1.3, rebooted?, no change

    * Installed ASUS System Control Interface V3 - 3.0.12.10, rebooted - Change: I now get sounds at each coldboot as I enter welcome/login screen. Twice the sound of "plugging in device/hardware/USB" a second between, little later the sound of "unpugging device". No sounds with reboots.

Nothing else from Armoury Crate "check updates" or from MyAsus.

EDIT: The sounds are with a USB MIDI interface connected, I unplugged it and coldboots don't give them. Windows also updated prior to that. But I have had that MIDI interface connected a week, noticed the sounds first today right after all new installs.

EDIT: Reverted to ASUS System Control Interface V3 - 3.0.11.10, still have sounds each coldboot.
Want to revert ASUS Framework Service 2.1.1.3 but don't know how to, nothing found in Device Manager

    Silent mode doesn't work properly

I suspect that on my G773QS Silnet Mode deesn't work properly. It resembles Windows Mode. There is no noticeable drop in CPU frequency after swithing from Windows to Silent Mode. After clicking in baterry icon when in Silnet Mode there appears performance slider like in Windows Mode (on my previous laptop (G732LXS) there wasn't this silder in Silent Mode). It looks as if the Armory Crate doesn't fully manage the power settings in this mode. Furthemore laptop on idle is relatively warm. On complete idle (reading text) CPU is about 50 C, when swithing between aps or making simple tasks it reaches above 60 C.

Using an external monitor hooked up to USB-C/Displayport

When my display turns off (not sleep) ArmouryCrate.UserSessionHelper starts gradually increasing in memory usage and I can hear the fans ramp up.
I can reproduce this issue every time by letting the display timeout when idle or when I go into CRATE and go to the GPU Power Saver TAB and click refresh on processes. Either of these two methods will create a memory leak.
I left it over night and it ate 4 gigs of memory when I checked on it, and the system became really choppy. I had to end the task to get my performance back.

There is no issue with the process if I keep the screen active or if I put system to sleep.

I'm not sure if this was an issue prior as I just got this laptop a few days ago and think I was already updated to 4.2.5.
So I did end up fixing all of my issues (Mostly).

    This includes
    ----
High CPU usage from NVDisplay Container upon waking from sleep
Connected Standby interruptions by "reason 50"
Start menu not responding upon waking from sleep
Monitor standby causing constant high memory usage by ArmouryCrate.UserSessionHelper.exe that would continue to rise until you woke the display
    ----

    The fix
    ----
I had two settings for my monitor (G27Q) that I needed to switch OFF... Auto Input Switch & Resolution Notification.
This prevented the monitor when it goes into standby from completely disconnecting.
I believe this was an issue because of the way Displayport technology works in combination with modern standby (S0 low power idle).
My build of windows also has a bug in it called Rapid HPD (Rapid Hotplug Detect) which will not be resolved until 20H2 or Windows 11.
    ----

    Crate specific issues still ongoing
    ----
SWagent still randomly shows up despite updating SDK

Memory leak still present to a lesser extent. You can simulate this leak by opening Crate and going to the GPU Power Saving tab and spam clicking refresh or going back and forth between other tabs to that same tab.

Random system wide stutter that lasts about 1-2 seconds and happens rarely. Maybe once or twice a week. When this happens my laptop RBG flickers and resets. Audio and mouse become very choppy. I believe this to be an issue with crate as I've had 2 laptops in the last year brand new that do the same thing. They both have Armoury Crate installed but the hardware and peripherals connected to them are completely different.
(If anyone has any information about the system wide stutter that happens randomly or it has happened to you also, please let me know.)
    -----

I know that not all of these issues are related to crate but the issue did cause crate to freak out and thought I'd bring it to the publics attention and how you can go about potentially fixing it.

That being said, crate issues aside, I believe people with KVM support are not likely experiencing the same issues with Displayport as long as it keeps a connection to the display with Windows 10 and as stated before, 20H2 and Windows 11 do come with Rapid HPD fix.

Hey @Psyched the following issue is caused by Nvidia not armory crate...
NVIDIA has acknowledged that NVRLA process is Causing high cpu usage, you can test it by closing this process and see if your usage drops. Here is the response from nvidia.

"Hello everyone. We have released a GeForce Experience hotfix v3.23.1.8 which should resolve this issue. You may download from the KBA below."
    https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answ...tail/a_id/5220

Follow the link and update your Geforce experience to version 3.23.1.8 to fix this issue (Even if you havent experienced the high cpu usage I would recommend everyone update geforce experience to at least this version anyway), Sorry I cannot help you with ANY of the other defects coded into Asus' Armory Crate, Apparently we paid extra for those.
