    Exclamation 5900x base clock 3.6 Ghz, it should be 3.7 Ghz, what could be the problem?

    I got this reply in Reddit AMD:

    That's the idle clock, not the base clock. There's a difference.

    That's the minimum it will run under load if the boost algorithm is limited by temps or other limiting factors.

    5950x here, same idle clock.

    Yeah, I agree with that comment.

    Might be worth moving to latest BIOS as well. Version 2423

    If you don't mind me asking, how come your running DDR4 @ 3000 RAM and not supported 3200 speed or little higher, given your running 5900x and this is best performance increase you can do for Ryzen, or just future upgrade thing and initial cost reduction becuase you had RAM sitting around ?

    Initial cost reduction.

    In the future when i can, will upgrade to a more fast RAM.

    Mmm, everything is working fine, you think i should upgrade to the latest one?

    Anyways, i always use the Flash Button feature, so if something don't likes me of the last BIOS, i always could "downgrade" to a previous one.

    Yeah, u can always downgrade if you find an issue.

    Can I suggest you go with at least DDR4@3600 CL16 2xDR modules, when you get around to it.
