Hi, I would like to know what you think about the upgrade of the cpu 5900X on this motherboard CROSSHAIR VII HERO-WI-FI.
Do you think the motherboard can handle the processor well? Is PCI Express 4 Gen supported for the video card section?
What limitations do I have with respect to the new motherboards?

You didn't state what processor you have currently.
Yes, PCIe gen4 is supported.
I don't quite understand your last question. The C8H uses the X570 chipset. "Newer" boards use B550 chipset.
You can compare both chipsets online, but in a few words the X570 (and thus the C8H motherboard) is the most feature rich chipset to date.
Personally I would not change the C8H for a board with B550 chipset.

Cheers.

Pcie gen 4 is only supported on the m.2_1 slot not on the pcie x16 slot some 400 series do have support but not the Crosshair vii hero.

The C7H is a good board can easily handle a 5900x.

Upgraded about a month ago and it's handling it no problem.
