    Looking for Keyboard Recommendations.

My computer is about three years old now, so technology wise, it's old.

I have an ROG Strix Flare (Cherry Red), an awesome keyboard, however, in the early hours when I am awake it is very, very noisy.

Since I spend less time gaming now, I want an efficiant computer for both my wife and I to use which is not so loud on the key press.

I have heard there are RX and MX switches now and I have no clue.

CPU AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, ROG Strix X570-E, 32 GB Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 3600MHz, ROG Ryujin 360, ROG Thor 850w, ROG Strix RTX3080, 2 x M2 Samsung SSD.

The Flare with MX Red is already fairly quiet, but the sound of mechanical keys is understandably noticeable in Australia where it's very peaceful. If you are already happy with the Flare then try changing to thicker PBT keycaps, or get some o-rings to dampen that sound when you bottom out, or both. If you've got that itching to get something new, check out the Claymore II with RX Red, it's got a volume rocker like the Flare. You can choose which side you want the keypad (with the rocker).
