ASUS ROG Z490 Maximus XII Formula & Seagate Firecuda 530 M.2 PCIe Gen4 ×4 NVMe 1.4

Hi Folks,
I must confess that I've NEVER even paid any real attention to the M.2 drives for any motherboards I've installed because they all seem to require that at least one SATA port be disabled.

However, I have to admit that the speed of the Seagate M.2 NVMe drive is too fast to ignore (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08Q4X1HRJ/ref=sspa_dk_detail_1?pd_rd_i=B08Q54CHS6&pd_rd_w=g0AJD&pf_rd_p...).

Still, there's a lot of technical requirements that get me confused about these slots in general.

Does anyone out there have one of these Seagate drives installed in their ROG Z490 Maximus XII Formula mobo? If so, how many SATA ports did you have to give up to run a single M.2 card?
Thanks,
Rich
