You've got them IN HAND Braegnok brother, so lend us your experimental results as soon as you find out, which runs cooler?

I might be the only one who likes the Gskill Royal Elite DDR4 heatsink aesthetic. Most enthusiasts see crumpled foil, yet I see multiple polytetrahedrons intermingling at a sub-atomic level in the 4th dimension.

Also, crumpled foil would not maintain proper geometric order.

    I love this mem kit, it does 5333Mhz CL19, 5600Mhz CL20, and 5866 CL21.

Here's the FMMJ Ram Jackets assembly video:

The Video is vary deceiving, so are the included instructions that are not written in English.

Seller is top notch however, they shipped item quickly and I received item from China in just a few days.

They include everything in kit, thermal pads, extra screws,.. vary high quality shields with nice powder coating finish. Putting them on your modules you need to remove factory heat shields. You would think since they include both 0.5 and 1.0 pads the thin pads would go on IC side of module and the thick pads on back side. This is not the case, use the thick pads on both sides and everything has full contact,.. works out great.

Before putting shields on your modules,.. first put the shields together than drill out the top hole for mounting top cover, as the shields have this hole as two halves and it was imposable to get screws through the misaligned hole. Also I used my own screws for mounting the top cover due to the fact the heads on screws provided were vary tight, to large to slide-up channel to mount top cover.

Trial & error putting the shields together took a lot more time than I expected,.. but the finished product is amazing, vary clean looking.

The memory kit I'm using with the ram-jacket is DDR5-5600 @ 1.2V running in XMP,.. the temps are fine, indeed not higher than the factory shields.
Perhaps due to Ram-Jackets better thermal pads & much thicker shields, the shields are vary heavy compared to factory shields,.. I'm guessing These full cover jackets were originally made for those green PCB memory kits with no heat shields. lol

The minimal aesthetic looks good combined with the Apex boards two-slot configuration.

Modifying the jackets was easy after realizing the issue,.. drill holes before installing memory, use screws with slightly smaller heads. I used Hard drive screws #6-32*5 that I had on the bench that were handy.

Round-out the square hole a bit, and they go together nicely,.. like in the video.

That's going to look sweet when your finished.

Personally I feel each block & every fitting effects flow-rate.

    So keep it simple.

And never get in a slapping contest with a 400 pound man,.. lol
