ROG Swift PG248Q won't overclock

So, I have the PG248Q monitor, and it is known that this model is overclockable up to 180hz. The problem is, it won't let me go over 144 - when I turn on the overclock option in my monitor settings (I can choose 160, 170 or 180), the monitor resets and then the overclock turns itself off - goes back to 144hz. I have a second 165hz monitor and it works completely fine, I also bought a new DP cable that supports even 240hz, but it didn't change anything.
