Need to know if there is anyway to disable this feature in the web GUI? Thank you.

This is exactly what I have done. But the log still show that at certain time of the day it will search for firmware update.

You just turned off it actually updating the firmware. It will keep searching and usually early in the morning, but it will not upgrade to another version even if it finds one.
