PC off but green LAN-LED still on...

Hi,

is there a way to turn the green LAN-LED off when the PC is off?

I know i can do that with "ErP-Ready: S4+S5" in the Bios - when i set this, LAN-LED is off...
But i dont want that...

What i did:

Bios:
Power on PCI-e: disabled (so Wake-on-Lan is disabled)

Windows:
Fast Boot: off
Netwerk-Setting: Magic Packet and all other "Activation-Setting" - disabled
Energiesetting: This device can power-up the PC - disabled

But still: the Green LAN-LED is on, even when the PC is turned off...

Any idears?
Or is it not possible?

Thanks!

This is normal. Motherboards in a powered-off state usually keep the network port active unless you have some of those very low power settings enabled that you mentioned.
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station…
