I would like to know the correct way to hard reset my AX82U.
Also a bit more info for the router ui reset.

To hard reset I read switch off the router hold the wps, till lights go out the push power button, what power button, well it's a switch, so do I switch it off and on again.

A hard reset will clear all NVRam?

The router Ui has reset but has a option, what's the difference, as, "Initialize all the settings, and clear all the data log for AiProtection, Traffic Analyzer, and Web History" should that not be in the default? Just re initialize?

Oh then there is the reset button!

Hard factory reset and router UI reset ("Initialize..." option checked) both would clear nvram. If you cannot access router UI, please do hard factory reset.
Reset button or router UI reset option("Initialize..." option unchecked) both would only reset router settings to default.

Ok thanks, since I hard reset I have been getting a warning, I then soft reset and still get the below warning. Else everything seems fine

Right, on wednesday I did a hard reset and then noticed the above error also i was getting a routing error for a ipv6 address yet ipv6 is off was strange.
So I then did a soft reset, via the ui, no tick. After that all looked fine, 24hrs after I then sent feedback as all looked good and no harming in sending I think.

Then last night I see the above error two of them and think I'll ask. I will post the first warning that I got here I then got the seconed above right after. Nothing since.

I reset as think I had done it wrong when I did before in my other post.

I've had more of the above errors again today at 8am in the logs, i can post on request, also I am getting some other errors. I have sent a feedback report too. Only thing different I have done is not use ipv6, if related as keep seeing ipv6 in the errors.

After consulted our tech team, the warning message you mentioned is qos related system notice. Our tech team have check other logs in feedback, and there is no system and hardware error, so please don't worry about the warning message.
However, our tech team found there is warning about vpn. The warning below means your vpn settings on client and server are different, and it may affect data transfer. Please check if the vpn settings are correct.
