I realize this must take a ton of work to support all these variations of boards / cpu / memory types.

I tried this latest BIOS however unfortunately I still can't get the:

Crucial by Micron
CT16G48C40U6.M8A1 16GB DDR5-4800 UDIMM 1.1V CL40

Memory above 4400mhz. Anything above that crashes on the HERO variation of the board. (I have 2 sticks of 16GB in slot A1 and B1)

Would it be possible to get a high-level list of changes/fixes in these BIOS updates?

Specifically I'd like to know if there are memory compatibility/XMP fixes in these updates.

can I ask where did you get that BIOS?
the latest bios on the asus site for the Z690 extreme is 0702

where did you get the 0802?

are this BIOS "official"?

Shamino is the source. He is a guru around here. I have used his bios versions without reservation over the years. He is the author after all.

Yup I have the same issue, I have Hero Z690 too, the latest bios on the web page is 0702, anyone know id there's a newer one for for the Hero Z690?

Anyone can help? I have the d4 version (strix z690 gaming-A), but in the shamino's list there is one without D4 in the 0802 list.

My problem is with memory Gskill F4-3200C16D-16GTZR ( i have 2 kit, so 4 ram) It seem to work well when i just put 2 memory on A2 & B2 Slots. (I try with XMP 1 & 2 profile) => Ok

When i try to use the 4 slots A1,A2,B1,B2, with XMP1 and XMP2 and i get a lot of blue screens on Windows ...... (sometime it's not possible to boot)

I was using the same memory with my previous motherboard (Asus prime x299) without issues for 3 years.
