ROG Strix RX580 instantly getting max temps with any load

Firelord01

Whenever I play any kind of GPU intensive game, the GPU always instantly shows temp readings go up to the max available 85-87 degrees Celsius. I know it shouldn't go up like so instantly but slowly over time, so is there any fix for that on the consumer level that I can do or do I just get it to the place I purchased it and ask for a replacement, bcs it's a faulty GPU? (The GPU works fine, but bcs of the temp readings it can't really work properly and the fans are going at max RPMs constantly, when in use)

If you are concerned that the gpu is overheating there may be an issue with the thermal paste or the cooler is not supplying sufficient even pressure. You purchased it recently? Then yes you could exchange it. If you no longer have a warranty you could remove the cooler and see if the paste has gotten dry or any screws are loose.
