    ASUS ROG STRIX X299-XE GAMING - WIFI Problem?

    Ok, I never used my wifi but now I wanted to use it and my issue is that it is only connection with 2.4G.
    Every other device can connect to the router with 5G, only my motherboard cant.
    I installed latest driver and still only shows 2.4G in settings in windows and on my router.
    Is that normal or how do I get my wifi card to connect as 5G ?
    The router does not provide a different SSID for 5G just one.
