[ Complain about ASUS ROG Z690 price sepcific model 2100$ ? for only motherboard ?]
Hello ,
I hope you are fine
I wan't to complain about z690 spicific model impossible price 2100 $ for Z690 model ?
ASUS ROG Maximus Z690 Extreme Glacial (WiFi 6E) LGA 1700 (Intel 12th Gen) EATX Gaming Motherboard (Integrated EK Ultrablock, PCIe 5.0, DDR5, 24+1 105A Power Stages, 5x M.2, 1xPCIe 5.0 M.2)
This model is : https://www.newegg.com/asus-rog-maxi...quicklink=true
- ASUS is now number one for most of people also the way ASUS ROG design Motherboard - Performance DRM high-end pc7m.
But why this model is 2100 $ ? who set this motherboard at this price idk if asus marketing is living in real life or just a dream life?
2100$ for [ Z version ] that will become after one year old Z790
Unlike if we invest in X299 or Upcoming motherbaord like W790 Chipset Lineup ... they stand for 3-4 years unlike Z modeel every year there is newer model and why this is 2000$ I Like intel and i Like asus product all my pc's from asus rog since 2013
but this price is not real tbh it's just dream prices and i dont think asus is studying this price correctly
and i know someone will come and say pandamic stuff and there is low supply than demand .

I'm also shocked at the ROG Z690 prices. OMG!
My Apex X cost only $349, but then it was a really stripped down motherboard didn't offer any higher end features - only great overclocking.
My Apex XIII cost $599 - $675 with tax and next-day shipping from the Asus Store US. But it's so well made and been such an absolute pleasure to use, I LOVE IT!
Z590 Apex absolutely worth the money in my opinion, I've had a great RKL experience an 11600K that clocks to 5.5Ghz single thread for benchmarks, and of course 5333Mhz CL19 5600Mhz CL20 and 5866Mhz CL21 DDR4 mem clocks - my build's responsiveness is outstanding now, even boot times are 4.5-5seconds, I don't even see the ROG splash screen at all boot is direct to Windows 11.
But I'm still not happy with the beloved Apex motherboard moving from $419USD Z490 to $719USD Z690 in only 2generations, that's crazyness.
Glad I skipped Alder Lake, DDR5 is simply not ready. Maybe Summer 2022, or right before Raptor Lake launches Fall 2022, then Gskill DDR5 will finally have some special ROG ONLY QVL kits and possibly APEX ONLY QVL kits, that's when I'll buy a new platform - Raptor Lake or Meteor Lake.
Love my Apex XIII

Although, have to admit the Z690 Extreme Glacial is the most beautiful motherboard I've ever seen in my life.

Hi pinkfloyd1173,
I'm not 100% sure but Z690 might support the next gen raptor lake cpu's.
Meteor Lake will probably be the big change.Last edited by Nate152; 11-21-2021 at 02:07 AM.

Alder Lake(Z690) and Raptor Lake(Z790) will both use socket LGA1700
Meteor Lake(Z890) and Arrow Lake(Z990) will both use socket LGA1800
Lunar Lake and Nova Lake will both use the same LGA socket - still unknown
Don't think I can wait 24months from today for Meteor Lake - I'll need me some new ROG before then. LOL!Z590 Epiphenomenal Rocket Bench

Simple, whatever it costs, x2 :P remember supporting that thing won't be cheap
Things you want are out of your price range? I assume things like Range Rovers upset you?
The world voted for liberal governments, welcome to that world, you can't afford nicer things, you can afford less. Its the consequence

Its the screwdriver driving up the cost. The mono junk wont cool worth a hoot either. They did this once with a bitspower block that at least added in temps and other data with its own special slot.
