So according to my research, all that is happening is that only one core at a time can run at 4.3 on this cpu. And the more cores that are pushed to the limit the more throttling that must happen.
Unless someone knows something different. Never mind. Thanks for sharing your thoughts Nate.
More info: I can see it get to 4.3 at idle in high performance mode if I kill a few programs and change aura sync pattern to static.Last edited by Jimbo93; 11-26-2021 at 02:54 AM.

And upping the BCLK will screw up everything else. I change mine from 100 to 101 and lose my 10G ethernet, GPUs wont work for crap and a myriad of issues.
You mistake was not doing your homework before buying.
While there are all kinds of options they are a waste of time. About the only thing you might be able to tweak up a bit is the memory but thats going to be limited as well the the chips IMC thats also locked.

I don't know what an AMD cpu is capable of but I can get the 7700k from 100 to 300+ BCLK.
When you overclock the BCLK, you mainly want to watch the cpu frequency and memory frequency, and adjust voltages accordingly if you're able to. You will hit a point when things start getting corrupted, just back it down a little. I'm sure you know to keep an eye on temps.
The Bus Clock is the BCLK.
Hope you don't mind me sharing.
