Advise on BIOS settings: for 2X NVMe drive?

Hi Guys,
I am looking for a little bit of advice.
I Have an Asus Hero_X M/B
I bought it with one Samsung SSD 960 EVO 1TB PCIe NVMe drive in it.
It was installed in slot M.2_1 slot.
The BIOS was set to Auto.
I have just bought another additional Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 1TB PCIe NVMe drive
and installed it.
I have changed the Bios to:
PCIEX4_3 Bandwidth: X4
M.2_1 Configuration: PCIE mode
M.2_2 Configuration X4

Question:
Is PCIEX4_3 Bandwidth: controlling both M sockets at either 2x or 4x speed?
Can you confirm I have the fastest speed set for the NVMe drive?
I am not bothered that they are taking the 2 SATA controllers
as long as I have read the manually correctly?
Thank You..

just leave all on auto, unless you have problems then look into whats causing it. but auto should be fine.
