Hammer test note in memtest86

I’m getting a note in memtest86 on GSkill 5600 ddr5 cas36. Says something about errors may occur but not definite. I found the following at memtest86 website: *

*Starting from MemTest86 v6.2, the user may see a warning indicating that the RAM may be vulnerable to high frequency row hammer bit flips. This warning appears when errors are detected during the first pass (maximum hammer rate) but no errors are detected during the second pass (lower hammer rate).*

Any thoughts on this?? Thanks.***

BTW-Ramtest 1.1.0.0 yielded no errors past 1400%.

Disregard. It was my manual OC. Had multiple errors show up. Repeat test at defaults no errors. Repeated again with XMP2 no errors.

Is it this RAM with an Apex Board?

Just curious as I also have an Apex Board and just ordered that RAM kit....will be putting it together soon.

Ok so pretty much same kit as mine only w RGB......so you did get it working fine w XMP II ? May I ask what voltages you tweaked if any?

Thx

Yep. I simply selected XMP2 for this kit and that profile filled in 1.2V for the VDD and VDDQ fields. However, I got a ton of errors in Memtest86 v9.3 pro with that. I retested the memory at default speed with no errors at all. I noticed a few errors with increasing the VDD and VDDQ to 1.25V. Then I simply applied 1.35V to the VDD and VDDQ Â*fields and retested a final time-no errors at all. I wanted to see if it was stable with the OC. RamTest V1.1.0.0 had 1 error out to about 5000% with the OC so I reran the test with at default values-no errors. Ramtest notes on their website that the memory is good unless you have errors at default speeds. I believe the same is true for memtest86. Testing memory at default speeds/no OC is preferred. I repeated my CPU testing too after that and I had no crashes. Had a few blue screens showing memory errors in blue screen view. Adjusted the voltages on the memory and seems very stable. Used Cinebench and Intel XTU for most stability testing. Worked quite well.

Reviewed Shamino’s notes on the memory settings. He has recommended 1.35V for Samsung and has recommendations for other vendors. I think our kits of GSkill are Samsung.

Hope this helps. Â*

I bumped the SAV up a little too. Sorry for the rotation. Uploaded on my iPad. Also using adaptive mode with that negative 0.7 offset to decrease the peak Vcore a bit too.
