Anyone noticing any increased temps specifically for G14? 10-15 C higher than before, and it seems its a problem others are experiencing on reddit.

Installing Armory Crate for my z690 Extreme, I get a few issues:


1. Upon reset I get Load VGA Bios and it doesn't post. I have to turn the computer off completely and then turn the power supply off and on again, then it posts into windows.
2. I've now discovered it disables my 10G ethernet port.

Uninstalling doesn't help either, I had to restore windows to before the installation of Crate. Unfortunately this means I can't change a lot of features of the motherboard, which is a massive shame considering how much it cost.

UPDATE: SO Armoury Crate definitely causes the 'Load VGA BIOS' on post, but I'm having issues with the Marvell 10G port without Armoury Crate installed. The connection works fine for a while then all of a sudden slows down and then disconnects. I can take the cable out and plug it straight into the Intel port and it works instantly. So no I have to figure out what the cause of this is.

Hi all,

I have a big issue with v5.0.10.0 and then v5.0.11.0.

I have a Z690 Apex with BIOS 0811 (latest available, issue also with 0806) and a custom watercooling loop. I use a temperature sensor in the water to control my fan speed and it is attached to the T_Sensor probe on the motherboard. I use the UEFI QFan tool to setup my fan speed and I select the T_Sensor as the controlling parameter as I've always done.

Now, even with the UEFI BIOS correctly setup, if I have Armoury Crate installed my fan settings are overwritten by Armoury Crate even with the FanXpert turned completely OFF. I initially thought that setting the FanXpert off would solve the issue but it doesn't. The only solution I found was to completely remove Armoury Crate and, at that point, the profiles I setup in the UEFI worked perfectly.

Is this a known issue? If not, can you report to the dev for correction?
