ROG STRIX Z690-A GAMING WIFI D4 - Bios 0707 and newer causing instability issues
I am running i9-12900k @ stock, 4x 8GB GSkill TridentZ (Samsung) 3200MHz CL14 RAM, ROG Strix Z690-A GAMING WIFI D4.
It looks like newest bioses v 0707 and v 0807 are causing instability issues, bsods and crashes when XMP 1 or XMP 2 are enabled.
I reverted back to bios 0605, which is very stable and works well with both XMP 1 and XMP 2. Didn't have a single crash or bsod on that one.
Would be great if technical team could look into those issues as I would love to be able to use newer bioses in future and it seems like similar issues are reported by other users in Z690 sub forum.Last edited by FatalityZZ; 12-23-2021 at 02:39 AM.

Hi FatalityZZ,
Did you encounter bsods and crashes right after booting into windows or while running the specific apps?
Do you remember or take a photo of error message in bsod?
May I have the following information?
- the serial number of the motherboard via PM
- the brand and model name of the graphics card, SSD or HDD with OS, and PSU
- the specific model name of RAM such as F4-3200C14Q-32GTZSW and photos of RAM
- BIOS settings that bsods and crashes occurred on bios 0707 and 0807
- OS version and OS build
Thank you.
