How to get AMD Ryzen 7 1700 to work on ASUS ROG Strix X570-i gaming motherboard?

I tested the CPU & it gets hot but no post & RED LED illuminates.

I popped a 2700x in & it posted & i updated the bios to the latest. Still nothing.

The x570 doesn't support 1st gen CPU's only 2nd and 3rd
