Will adding 2 Nvme SSD slow GPU on Asus ROG Maximus Apex Z690?

Hello,

I’m getting this board soon and was curious to know as I have heard before that adding multiple nvme ssd can slow gpu, if this will indeed affect performance of my gpu?

The Apex has 2 slots for the m.2 x4 which is where i plan to place the ssd cards.

I will be adding the 12900k paired with 3080 gpu.

So, will i be ok with this board and not loose gpu performance from 16 to 8?*

You only drop down to x8 if you use the add on card

There are currently no GPU's on the market that can saturate a PCI-E gen 5 slot running at x8, so i wouldn't worry too much about it.
