What two keys aren't working?

If it's the tab key, press Fn+Tab to sync with the other keys, the touch panel can be synced with the keyboard lighting.

Fn+Tab = Lock the touch panel, it will turn white.

Press Fn+Tab again to unlock the touch panel.

Thank you very much for your answer, really appreciated. Inserting the dongle in one of my USB ports did the trick, the firmware started updating.
But if I re-check the available updates, the firmware update is still there. It's like the keyboard doesn't update to the recent version.

Any idea?

I actually have the same issue. Though now I can't get the keyboard to allow me to control it through armory and the firmware update still wont go away. I have tried with both in when they are on and off, I have tried with only one in, and I tried with that dongle as the only asus item on my system. I cannot get it to update or get the update to go away.

I am very confused about why this is happening. I bought this new and when I unboxed it and got it running I got started updating firmware. But for some reason when it updated the app says it never updated the actual firmware and it continues to not allow me to update the firmware. Now to add to the fun armory crate doesn't pick my keyboard under devices but it does on the update center. I have tried uninstalling armoury then reinstalling it entirely. But it wont pick up my device so I can change any of the functions now. Does anyone have any ideas on what is going on?

Hi Eternalprimo1,

Connect the ROG Falchion to your pc with the cable, take out the wireless dongle on the back of the Falchion and connect it to a usb port, it should now let you perform the update.

Does it to show in Armoury Crate after the update?

not under devices but it does in the update center but it keeps prompting me to have the dongle and usb cable connected even though it is. I have tried resetting the keyboard but it still wont do anything also. I am gonna try again here and see if anything changes

Finally got it to update. I had to go into my actual computer settings and force remove the devices from my system, then plug them back in so my computer would set them up as a new device then I could perform the update and now I can find it in under devices on armoury

Yes, I can't update the firmware. It does fail to update every time. Please help.

i am still having the same issue

It keeps telling me to connect to usb cable or dongle. I tried to unplug and plug in again and again, removed the drivers but the problem still there.

Hi dooryan,

Welcome to the ROG forum.

Connect the dongle to a motherboard usb port, connect the cable to the ROG Falchion and connect to a motherboard usb port. Turn the ROG Falchion wireless switch on and try the update.
