Specifications for the Fan Headers on the 3080 Strix V2

Hello,

I have the Asus Strix 3080 . It's built with two extra fan headers (see this picture) that aren't connected to any fans out of the box. How many amps can each of these fan headers handle so I know how many 140 mm fans I can attach to each header? I'm planning on using two of Noctua's NF-A14.

There's no information on the card's Tech Specifications page.

I don't have any extra headers on my motherboard, the manufacturers of which also neglected to specify the specifications of the fan headers...

Hi daykeem,

Welcome to the ROG forum.

Each gpu fan header supports up to 1 amp or 12 watts.

The fan you list uses a maximum of .13 amps or 1.56 watts, so if we round this up to .15 amps....

5 fans x .15 amps = .75 amps or about 8 watts.

You can easily connect five of those fans to 1 gpu fan header.

Hi Nate! Thanks for the welcome, and thanks for the quick and detailed reply; I appreciate it.

Given how hard it was for me to get this thing I didn't want to make any wrong assumptions and break it., ha.

Funny enough, the first comment in that video is a user asking the exact same question I'm asking here.
I'll put a link to this thread.
