Resizable BAR available with GTX1660S?

Hello, I have the following hardware in my Win 10 PC:

CPU: AMD 7 3700X
GPU: ROG-STRIX-GTX1660S-O6G-GAMING
Motherboard: ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING (WI-FI)

I wonder if Resizable BAR works with this combination and whether it would increase the system's speed or have other clear benefits? Any drawbacks in using it if it should work in my setup?

I see on many pages that the Resizable BAR was originally advertised for 5000 series CPUs and RTX 30 series GPUs, but since those pages are rather old and my motherboard seems to offer me the possibility to enable it, I thought that it might already be supported on these older hardware pieces too.

Any information on this or personal experiences? Links to some official AMD docs/guidance would also be appreciated.

Someone may ask why don't I just try it. Well, I have too many experiences on something messing up my computer(s) and don't want to try things that initially seem very unlikely to function. Furthermore, I read on some pages that the system actually degraded performance on some setups. Hence thought to ask first.
