aus tuf fx506hc - windows 11 update

While starting my TUF for the first time it asked my if I wanted to update to Windows 11. I said yes, it gave some kind of error and didn't update.

Now window update no longer shows the update to Windows 11. Is windows 11 available for my laptop or I have to wait. I live in Uruguay - South America.

Win11 requires PTT/TPM 1.2 or 2.0, 8th generation CPU or newer, and Secure Boot.

PTT/TPM and secure boot might have to be enabled in the BIOS. Did you update the BIOS?

Hello Gus.

Thank you for your help.

I ran the app and all is green.

It says the computer is compatible and tha I should receive the option to upgrade from October 5th to fall 2022.

So I guess I need patience? Don't know why it was showed on first boot...

You can try the official upgrade tool from Microsoft:
Windows 11 Installation Assistant
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11

Or, if you have an 8 GB USB stick, you can create a bootable installer to do a clean install, or upgrade as well:
Create Windows 11 Installation Media
