PG279Q Monitor Artifacts

Hey,
My trusty monitor started to show signs of possibly dying soon.
When I turn on the monitor on the first time, a vertical swirly line of white artifacts appear on the screen.
These artifacts are gone within a minute after the monitor has heated up.
Otherwise the monitor works just as normal, nothing out of the ordinary, however these cold-start artifacts made me wonder if the monitor is really dying soon.
Anything I can do about it? repair?
It's a damn good monitor and I didn't think it would be dying within less than 4 years of use.
Warranty has gone less than a year ago..

Looks like a problem with the circuitry rather than the panel so if it does die on you at some point you could probably get the internals from a donor monitor with a broken screen if you keep an eye out on Ebay. Also a trained technician may be able to do component level diagnosis and replacement. Sometimes it's as simple as a single capacitor replacement.
