Do M.2 Drives w/ Heatsinks Fit in ROG Crosshair VIII Hero?

I'm considering buying another M.2 NVME drive, but the one I'm looking at comes with its own heatsink. Is there any problem fitting such a drive onto the ROG Crosshair VIII Hero? Would I just leave the motherboard's stock heatsink off?
