    Hi everyone,

    - Intel GNA Drivers (Drivers Only) :
    Drivers : 3.0.0.1457 WHQL [26/11/2021]
    Download : Link

    Install/Update Process :

    - Press Windows key + X > Device Manager > Right-click on your Intel GNA device > Update driver > Browse my computer for driver software
    - Browse... > Select the extracted drivers folder (GNA_Intel_v...) > Next

OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit or more recent.
Hardware requirements : Motherboards with Intel 5xx/6xx/7xx series chipsets with Intel GNA enabled.

    TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

    Hi,

As indicated in the requirements, these Intel GNA drivers are necessary (and visible Intel GNA device in your Device Manager, in System devices category) only if Intel GNA is enabled in your BIOS.

I assume you will ask me what is Intel GNA (Gaussian & Neural Accelerator), so :

It is designed for offloading continuous inference workloads including but not limited to noise reduction or speech recognition to save power and free CPU resources.

The GNA plugin provides a way to run inference on Intel GNA, as well as in the software execution mode on CPU.

    Hi,

Yes, the Intel GNA device uses a driver from the Intel Chipset Drivers only for identification (for more information about that, please refer to this post : https://rog.asus.com/forum/showpost.php?postid=856251), until you enable Intel GNA in your BIOS and you install the Intel GNA Drivers (the naming of your device will change from Intel(R) GNA - xxxx to Intel(R) GNA Scoring Accelerator module).

That's why I always recommend that after a clean install of Windows, first install your Intel Chipset Drivers then only in a second time install your Intel Serial IO Drivers & Intel GNA Drivers (if enabled in your BIOS).
