Asus maximus XIII hero, Aida64 and Prime95

So I jumped from the Asus maximus X hero to the XIII version so far loving this motherboard. I have my 980 Samsung nvme in M2.3 because I didn't know I needed to go into the bios and activate the m2_2 slot if I have a 10900k which I do. SO I have it in M2.3. Am I losing any performance?

But on to this inquiry about stress testing. I used Aida64 to do a stress test and everything went well at 5ghz none of the temps hit above 80c but with Prime94 with "blend of everything" on the PC crashed in like 2 minutes. What's up? Is prime95 not playing nice with the z590 motherboards or is Aida64 not that stressful on the system? IF anyone has any suggestions on other stress tests I can use please let me know.

Thanks.

It is probably when it gets to testing small fft with avx that causes too much heat. It depends on how you have the bios set for power limits/temps etc. Few 10900k will be able to run small ffts at 5ghz unless a really good bin and on water cooling.

From what I know most dont use small fft and avx in prime95 to test anymore.
