ROG G752VT - Ram upgrade options

mac300
Level 7
Hi,
I want to upgrade my laptop, and 1 of the upgrades is the Ram.
Currently it shows it has 16GB of installed Ram. However when I open the bottom cover I do not see any Ram installed.

I have no idea what Ram is installed - 2x8 or 1x16.

From what I read regarding upgrading Ram on this laptop -
"Up to 64GB of DDR4 (2133 MHz) SO-DIMM memory is possible (four 16GB modules, two upgradeable by the user).

My knowledge with this is limited, so my questions:
1. Does anyone know if it has 2x8 or 1x16?
2. I want to get it to 32GB. So can I just install 1x16 regardless? Or should I do 2x8?
3. Does it have to be 2133 MHz or can I install also 2400MHz and up?

Thank you

Hi
This model support 16GB*4, when you open bottome cover and no ram found which means there are ram placed under kb .
I am not sure your bundled ram size is 2*8G or 1*16G, if you want to know that, please pm me your serial number.
If you want to upgrade ram size to 32G, 1*16G is ok for you. Best frequency of ram is 2133mhz.
Here is our suggestion:
1600/2133-16G DDR4 2133 SO-D 16GB 260P HYNIX/HMA82GS6MFR8N-TF
DDR4 2133 SO-D 16GB 260P SAMSUNG/M471A2K43BB1-CPB

So I can safely use 1x16GB even if it's 2x8GB under kb.
Good to know.
Appreciate your reply 😃

And I'll check the suggested mems you mentioned.
