Maximus Z690 Memory help..
Looking for some help...
Just built new system with the following hardware below and trying to determine if the memory is single or dual rank. Old system I was able to just use CPU-Z and under the SPD it showed the rank.
I've emailed Corsair support and still waiting on response and was wondering if anyone knows another way to check? I've tried both Taiphoon Burner and RAMMon which didn't show anything.

As far as I know 16gb ddr5 dims are SR.
You can look at memtweakit on the last page at the RTLs and there will only be 1 for each channel if single rank.
Edit i was thinking of DDR4 for the RTLs in memtweakit. There are 2 rtls for or each SR dim on DDR5 in memtweakit.Last edited by bscool; 03-03-2022 at 06:32 PM.

On your AIDA64 memory device properties posted above. Look below Data Width 64-Bit, it shows "Ranks 1",.. so module is SR.
you can also use HWiNFO64, Module Characteristics, Number Of Ranks: 2,.. would be DR.
