    Small FK09 fan dying/dead - How important is it?

    So my ROG Strix GL703GS is a few years old now. The smaller FK09 fan is dying or dead at this point. I thought it was one of the main fans, but it turned out to be the culprit. How important is this fan? I can't tell that anything is directly under it, so I'm not sure if it was pulling heat off from somewhere. I've opted out to just remove it for now.

    I cannot find a store anywhere that has this replacement part. I can find the two main fans for the CPU/GPU, but not this little guy. Only found a couple stores with it listed, but they say it is sold out.
