GPU active backplate clearance on Asus Z690 motherboards

I know that the EK active GPU backplates won't fit on the Z690 Extreme. Does the Z690 Hero provide enough clearance for them?

I'm running EK Active Backplate on RTX 3090 FE with Z690 Apex in top X16 slot,.. simply pull M.2 heatsink and card fits nicly.

The black release button on right side of top slot makes pulling card simple also, as GPU locking tab is totally covered after you lock card into slot.

Z690 hero, EK Vector Trio active backplate on MSI SuprimX 3090 no problem.

Thanks for the photo. I preordered one of the new Vector 2 blocks (with active backplate). The original active backplates require 13 mm from center of PCI slot per EK's web site. The new Vector 2 requires 15 mm. Also, the new ones don't have that gap on the back. Should there be enough clearance on the hero?
