    Maybe is just me, however, in the long term, I'm worry about the stress affect on all the component surround.

    I wonder how H100 size? I was surprised my Phantek Heatsink fit in my Full ATX PC case at all ROFL... Probably why I wouldn't want to overclock my cheap intel CPU... Cos can't afford to buy the 3960X atm lol... Hey I'd say if you want to OC the MOBO why not purchase an a real OC CPU go Xtreme-Performance!! Hell Yeah LOL

    have to make a correction...

    The fans supplied with the H100, IS pwm fans, but the 4,e wire is not soldered on the pcb..

    But with the stock 3pin connector, its not PWM controlled......

    Had to open 1 up, and check........... haha

    I have been assembling my new PC in recent days and encountered the H100 will not fit on the posts" issue too. Eff. I remembered reading about the "rotate the H100 90 degrees" solution, so I tried it out. First try it worked fitting perfectly on the four posts! Hurray! Here's a pic.

    HOWEVER, I am having other problems now! Eff again. The PC will not POST. I get power, all fans spinning, lights flashing, but the MOBO read out LED stays on AA and I never see anything on my monitor screen. I will start a new post on that shortly.

    Well AA from experience and other people says it's normal but yeah I have same problem as you... black screen lol... tried to use the nvidia 296.10 update GPU drivers but I noticed that when I went to safemode the Asus drivers had a conflict with E5 Xeon ver Processor... in the GPU properties drivers setting...

    I basically reinstalled it and still have black screen LOL... Meh... it said in my phantek that they come with screws so as long as H-100 it said on the box that it comes with screws for CPU heatsink... Phantek's screws is like the screws when you install the MOBO into the Full Tower Case... that it screws into the 4 screw socket then I simply mount on the heatsink w/ fan a Y adapter PMW cable but yeah RIVE has only 3 pins while PWM has 4... but I installed the PWM cable it still works I wonder what's the 4th pin do...? Does it monitor the fan speed? >,<

    So I didn't need to install anything except the heatsink and the 4 screw socketed even though my Phantek said it's originally for LGA 1366... the box says it's compatible to LGA 2011 and have 4 screws in it... At first I thought I had to install a bracket lol but later on well I guess it's a learning curve... ^^;

    Regrading the H100 bracket fittings..

    The brackets can be moved a bit, to make it fit...

    I have not tried this myself, but it make sense..
