FX516PE Memory upgrade question
Greetings! I have the ASUS TUF Dash F15 FX516PE.313. I tried to install https://www.newegg.com/corsair-32gb-...82E16820236851 this and got a black screen. no audio beeps but the battery light was blinking every second. I'm wondering if the maximum memory is 32gb INCLUDING the 8gb soldered on. I tried to contact Asus customer support but was told they dont have a list of compatible memory upgrades.

maximum memory is 24gb
With 8GB soldered RAM, Max Memory is 24GB (Add 16GB Memory Module)
With 16GB soldered RAM, Max Memory is 32GB (Add 16GB Memory Module)

Does what you bought match whats soldered in? It should default to slowest stick but Ive seen mismatches cause issues more than once. Try to match speed and timings to what you cant change.
