I'm looking at RAM for my Z590 Maximus Hero board (with 11700K) Cooling is good. I do like to overclock. I'm not an expert by any means, but willing to put time and effort in. My PC build is purely for gaming.

For this particular board and with overclocking in mind, would you advise 2 x 16 GB or 4 x 8 GB sticks? 3600 CL18 or 4000 CL19? *

I don't have much experience with Rog boards (coming from MSI after several years) so wanting to pick your brains. I'm looking at Corsair sticks so it goes nicely with existing my Corsair ecosystem (fans, AIO and lighting) but open minded to other RAM brands if that's better for overclocking objectives. *
