From memory yes, I always thought something wasn't right or some issue somewhere as I didn't have this problem with this GPU on my older Z390 platform.

I don't think it's the PSU as it's the same PSU and GPU as my last setup where I did not have this random issue of freezing in games, The PSU is a Seasonic 850w Gold it's about 3 yrs old and there are no stability issues like crashing or anything with the system, I think if the PSU was at fault there would be stability issues and other signs, And also all voltages look good in HWInfo from the PSU even when stressed.

I am going to try the new bios recently released soon and see what happens, If it's still the same will set the bios back to stock and try again, After that if no change I will be contacting Asus about this board and see what they say.

Update...

So without tempting fate too early it's looking like the latest bios V1504 has fixed the issue amazingly, !/2 hour into DPC latency tester after running a few apps and running a full NVME Crystal disk mark and so far so good! Looks like it could have been some issue somewhere with the last bios I was on!

So is this acceptable? Doing a simple render test in GPU Z to check the bandwidth test and then doing a quick test with Crystal disk mark almost instantly bangs me into the thousands? And this is with the GPU not doing anything intensive just the question mark bandwidth test in GPUz and a quick M2 Read test in Crystal disk mark.

This is not normal behaviour looking at that it's a motherboard or motherboard driver issue.Attachment 93392

This tool is not meant to be run on a busy system, its meant ot be run on an idle system.

Busy includes any vendor software that updates cheesey rgb components (especially RGB RAM)

Are you sure it's first slot nvme conflicts with pcie?
