Maximus Hero WIFI XII 1GB LAN Stuck at 10/10 Since BIOS Update
I just noticed this recently. I was wondering why my internet speed seemed slow and then I tried downloading some game updates and started checking into it. My internet is 80Mbps download but I'm only getting 10Mbps now. I have two other computers on my network and I verified they're getting 80 down and 6 up. I tried using the latest Marvel LAN drivers off of the Asus ROG website but it still shows the same driver 12.19.0.16 from 9/29/2020 in the Device Manager. I've tried removing the old driver twice now and same results. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same driver you do but I have Win 11. My Link Speed is showing 1 Gbps which is normal for a Ethernet connection.
Have you tried the 2.5 Gbps port?
You are showing some other things I do not show but it may be Win 11. For instance, my IPv4 and IPv6 DNS servers are showing (Unencrypted).
You might want to try changing cables.
Have you messed with any of the Quality of Service options?
You are not using your router as the DNS server? Some ISPs work that differently.
Your ISP does not allow IPv6 operations?
Does the Event Viewer have any warnings or such regarding this?
Which Bios update did you just do? Oh, I see there is a new one, I will report back after I get it installed.Last edited by Saltgrass; 06-11-2022 at 09:56 PM.

OK, I got the new Bios (2601) and the new Intel Management Engine update installed and my Ethernet is still showing 1 Gbps.

Yeah, I feel like an idiot. I was looking at the 10/10 thing and figured it was something complex with my computer instead of doing the simple like rebooting my router. Turns out that the router was dumbing down one of the ports for some odd reason. It's a little older but latest firmware. May be time to replace it.
