ASUS ROG Maximus Z690 Extreme Issues - HELP!

tcmathews
Level 8
Hey Everyone,

I need some help, advices, and guidance. I have been pulling my hair out on this one and I need some insight as to what to try for those who have this motherboard. I built this computer from new, using Windows 11. I have had nothing but crashes, errors in the event log. I have had memory issues. I have replaced the motherboard twice now and ASUS now wants me to send it in AGAIN. So if I send it back to the retailer to be replaced again, this will be the 3rd time. I am sorry, but three motherboards that ASUS says is bad in a row, is there a defect on this board that I/WE dont know about? ASUS tech support has been no help other than wanting me to send the boards back to be repaired. I have noticed that ASUS has removed this board from their site as being available in their lineup.... since this post.

Error's I am getting:
1. Session "NT Kernel Logger" failed to start with the following error: 0xC0000035
2. Session "dc3a3596-71e1-45a3-b2ea-39ad5322fe51" failed to start with the following error: 0xC0000022

What is the best way to list my hardware? Not sure if this is right, but I listed this from CPUID. Also, what is odd, is I can run benchmarks all day long in 3DMark, PCMark10 and such and pass with not one error or crash. Gigabyte wants to replace the card as of the email I received yesterday.

Sounds like instability.

Return to optimised defaults and retest the system. This includes no XMP or overclocking of any kind. Once confirmed, post up and we will see what we can do to dial things in.

Running defaults on the boards, absolutely no over clocking on the system at all. I have even disabled all that I could find. Ram is Corsair Dominator 64gb, 2x32 dimms. I am on my 3rd motherboard, 3rd set of memory as well. Have reinstalled windows from fresh each time. This is from a Corsair report they had me send in. What is the best way to list my hardware, is there a utility I can run and save for you?

Remove the CPU cooler and CPU whilst checking for bent pins, then reattach cooler whilst making sure mounting pressure is even.

Not CPU, Socket, or pins. Been testing for over a week. I did replace the GPU, and for a week now, no errors thus far. When I emailed Gigabyte, they immediately replied RMA the card from the errors presented and didnt even want to troubleshoot. I appreciate all the advice and insight in this from everyone.
